Ultimately, Twelve Thousand Miles is the distance the Band must now travel to ply its trade against the Worlds best. It is also the spread of membership across the globe, spanning two hemispheres, three continents and six countries. In early 2009 the band recorded its second album which was released in the Southern Hemisphere at the New Zealand Pipe Band Championships, March 2009. The album was realeased twelve thousand miles away in the Northern Hemisphere at the 2009 Piping Live Festival, Glasgow. |
